“A Taste Of” by Colour Kane Officially Released

April 26th, 2007

Hidden Shoal Recordings today announced the official release of the album, “A Taste Of” by Belgian dream pop outfit Colour Kane. Featuring a collaboration with Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins fame, “A Taste Of” is laden with honey coated, magisterial guitars, sweeping electronics and lush vocals.

A Taste Of features no shortage of blissed-out material but perhaps no songs are more heavenly than the anthemic “Share My Ease,” “Silya,” and, yes, “Seaside Dream” which constitute as magnificent a sampling of dream-pop as you’re likely to hear in this lifetime. Especially magnificent, the Guthrie collab teleports Colour Kane into another stratosphere altogether for three-and-a-half minutes of pop perfection. - Textura Magazine

“A Taste Of” is now available from all good digital music stores such as Itunes, eMusic, Sony Connect and Rhapsody. Listen to the album in full here.

Glassacre Single, Video and Album

April 21st, 2007

Ok it should be clear now that the Glassacre album that was scheduled for release this month is not going to be released this month. The boys have a special knack for re-invention at the final hour. The album should now be ready for a June pre-release. Glassacre will however be releasing the single, “September 16th” from the album in late May. The band are also currently in production for the music video to accompany the single, working with Australian video artist Sam Landels.
