New Sankt Otten Single and Video Released

October 30th, 2007

Hidden Shoal Recordings, today announced the release of the first single and music video from the eagerly anticipated forthcoming new album by German cinematic pop outfit, Sankt Otten.

‘Wunden gibt es immer wieder’ is a magisterial lament, an anthem for lost moments. The track kicks into life with an insistent, hypnotic beat whose empty moments are soon filled with curling strings and the heart breakingly beautiful Fripp-esque guitar work of Oliver Klemm. ‘Wunden gibt es immer wieder’ is a slow burning, instensely orchestrated piece of maximalist minimalism…this is chamber trance. - Press Release Excerpt

Wunden gibt es immer wieder’ is now available exclusively from the HSR Store and includes a bonus unreleased track in the form of ‘Wandertag’. The music video is also available for purchase from the HSR Store in high quality iPod-ready format as well as being viewable on YouTube, Myspace, Imeem, Daily Motion and HSR TV.
