Due to some technical issues outside of our control the full version of the album was delayed in getting into these stores (even though the always trusty HSR Store has been shelling out copies since it’s release).

The Australian music label Hidden Shoal Recordings today announced the release of the wonderful new single ‘tosleepingpeople’ by the Craig Hallsworth-led Australian outfit Tangled Star. The single is taken from the brilliant forthcoming EP due out in the first quarter of 2008, following the band’s wonderfully received first EP through Hidden Shoal Recordings, It’s Now or Later.

‘tosleepingpeople’ is a lilting pop classic and sees Tangled Star at their inimitable best. Ambient Music Guide has named Slow Dancing Society’s The Sound of Lights When Dim as one of the Top Ten Albums of 2007, describing it as “A sensual and melancholy downtempo creation from a gifted American composer… Not to be missed.” SDS’s second album, The Slow and Steady Winter, has also been recently released to critical acclaim.
