The recent CD release (distributed through Tonevendor) of Wunden Gibt Es Immer Wieder, the latest masterwork by German cinematic pop outfit Sankt Otten, has caused quite a stir. The CD is currently Tonevendor’s 7th top selling album and rising.

Having already generated a wonderful buzz from its digital release, making a number of Top 10 of 2007 lists and garnering a range of glowing reviews, Wunden Gibt Es Immer Wieder is the follow up to the immensely successful and critically praised Wir Koennen Ja Freunde Bleiben, which is now also available on CD through Tonevendor.

Hidden Shoal Recordings currently have a number of releases available through Tonevendor including Monocle’s Outer Sunset (which was a previous top seller at Tonevendor last month) and Ghost in the Water’s Tooth. Hidden Shoal Recordings today announced it has begun a co-ordinated program which will see the majority of its catalogue reissued on CD. Not only are we excited to be able to offer recent gems in CD format but we’re also itching to expose some of the amazing releases from the back catalogue that missed out on the wider recognition they most definitely deserved. All CD reissues (as well as all future releases) will be available online through the HSR Store and select releases will also be available through US distributor Tonevendor. In other related news the Hidden Shoal Recordings online store (HSR Store) has seen a series of new features added this week. The store has been upgraded to handle the aforementioned CD sales with The Slow Beings christening the shelves with their CD release of We Know Why The Earth Moves out today. The store also has a new “accountless” purchasing option that allows customers to purchase without needing to create a store account (payment is made via credit card or Paypal account all through Paypal secure servers). Ahead of this Saturday’s eagerly awaited launch party for The Slow Beings’ stunning debut album We Know Why The Earth Moves, members of the band will be appearing on Western Australian radio. Martin Moon (drums) is on Radio Fremantle 107.9 FM Monday 23rd at 8pm, Liam Coffey (bass, guitar, vox) and Craig Hallsworth (guitar, vox) are on RTR 92.1 FM Friday 27th at 8.10am to play a song, and then Liam and Craig are on 720 ABC Perth on Saturday 28th at 8.15am to play two songs.
