Hidden Shoal releases on end-of-year lists

Tis the season for those those end-of-year lists, and Hidden Shoal releases have made their way into several of them. Phantom Channel included HC-B and Sleeping Me in their Top 50 for 2009. City Of Satellites made their way into the Top 10 on Those Walls, Your Ears, while Apricot Rail and Elisa Luu made the cut on Thought Palace.

Colour Kane Nominated for Cutting Edge Award

Dream pop masters Colour Kane have been nominated in the Myspace category of Belgium’s prestigious Cutting Edge Awards. Fans should immediately head to the Cutting Edge site (English translated site here) to vote for the band. If you need any reminder about why they deserve your vote then head to the HSR Store and stream their stunning debut A Taste Of.

We’re also hoping to spring some news about the next Colour Kane album very soon. To say we’re excited about that would be a gross understatement!

Apricot Rail gig at Amplifier Bar

Apricot Rail are back to play their first gig since mid this year. This Saturday 26 December at Amplifier Bar, Perth, Apricot Rail will be supporting the wonderful Perth band the Preytells in their last ever show (The Preytells that is!). Apricot Rail will be sporting a special line-up for the night as well. Doors open at 8pm.
