Colour Kane Bio
Colour Kane developed from the seeds of Abricot, comprising Belgian music scene veterans Bruno Kimpe and Joeri Gydé. The pair teamed up with vocalist Marjan Snykers, and Colour Kane was born. The band’s music soon found legendary Cocteau Twin Robin Guthrie, who offered his support, ultimately leading to the band supporting Robin during his Lumière shows in Belgium.
Colour Kane’s debut album A Taste Of features a Robin Guthrie remixed track, ‘Seaside Dream’, and the single ‘Too Late’, remixed by Swedish producer and driving force behind Glorybox, Fredrik Johansson. Laden with honey-coated, magisterial guitars, sweeping electronics and lush vocals, A Taste Of finds that unique emotive space where sonic majesty and melodic craftsmanship paint the sky with a rich and immersive melancholy.
