The Retail Sectors Bio

.
Inspired by the video game music of Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy) and the movie soundtracks of Joe Hisaishi, The Retail Sectors is one of the musical projects of the multi-talented Kentaro Togawa. Born in 1985 in Yamanashi, Japan, Kentaro has been making music since the age of 15, and also records as The Wholesale Sectors, covering the work of Nobuo Uematsu.
Kentaro Togawa, guitarist and aural snake charmer, weaves ten mysterious, fragile, yet ever spiraling webs of sound, with his axe providing a layered, powerful, even moving set of densely composed pieces. – Foxy Digitalis
Kentaro has so far released two albums, three EPs, two compilations and a remix, and also runs his own music label, Symbolic Interaction. His first release through Hidden Shoal Recordings, Foregone Conclusion, collects the pearls from some of his previous releases, including collaborations with Si Begg, Maps and Diagrams, and Headphone Science, as well as a number of previously unreleased tracks.
