Bury the Sound’s epic ‘What Would One Become’ from their Autumn Magnets EP is featured on the latest Music Emissions podcast. Entitled ‘Some New Shoes to Gaze Towards’ (dated March 18th), the podcast showcases the latest and greatest in post-rock and shoegaze. Well worth a listen.

This Friday, 1st February, Bury the Sound are playing their last live show before disappearing into the studio to commence work on their eagerly awaited debut album. They’re playing at 303 High St, Northcote with Sundown and/or Last Stand, The Imagists and Tim Chesley. Doors open at 8pm and entry is $5.

If you’re in Melbourne tonight, pop down to Bar Open on Brunswick St to see Bury the Sound’s last headline show before they take a break from gigging to work on their debut album. This Sunday, 6th January, Bury the Sound are playing their first live show of 2008 at The Empress, 714 Nicholson St, North Fitzroy with The Knives of Neptune and Ahkmed. It promises to be a night of epic, progressive music, so if you’re in the area, head on down. Ahkmed open the night at 7.30, BTS hit the state at 8.30, and The Knives of Neptune headline at 9.30.
