Amazon Distribution for HSR Catalogue

Hidden Shoal Recordings has announced it will partner with Amazon to deliver it’s catalogue digitally through the company’s Amazon Mp3 service. From today the entire Hidden Shoal Recordings catalogue comprising over 25 releases will be available for purchase through Amazons newly developed digital music service.

Included in the titles available at Amazon MP3 is the recently released avante pop masterpiece “The Moon and Stars Remain in the Morning Sky” by Portlands Iretsu, the stunning sophomore album “The Slow and Steady Winter” by US ambient artist Slow Dancing Society and the astonishing indie bliss rock that is “Alone in this Dark Romantic Night” by French trip rock outfit Beautiful Lunar Landscape.

Bury the Sound and Glassacre US CD Re-Releases

Hidden Shoal Recordings today announced further US CD re-releases of selections from its catalogue through its ongoing exclusive partnership with Amoeba Music in Los Angeles. The label has added Glassacre’s Slow Attack EP and Bury the Sound’s Autumn Magnets EP to its series of US CD re-releases. The announcement follows the success of these releases through digital distribution, as well as enthusiastic worldwide support from radio, press, and fans.

Both releases as well as The Hero Cycle’s Lakes and Ponds will also be available via mail order through Amoeba. Hop into the HSR Store for direct purchase links.

Glassacre Single Announced

Glassacre have finally announced a release date for the first single to be taken from their eagerly awaited (and overdue!) debut album. The single titled ‘September 16th’, will be released on the 22nd of November with the album now slated for release in late January 2008. We’ve heard cuts from the new album and we can safely say it is sounding amazing. Read their Myspace blog for details on the single and a series of excuses as to why the album is late.
